Pressure sensors sit at many points of the vehicle: in the intake manifold (MAP), on the fuel rail, in the oil circuit, in the brake system and in the air-conditioning circuit. Each one reports a pressure value to the control unit, which uses it for metering, engine protection and safety functions.
